Wimbledon did their bit, beating York 4-3 in extra time last night. MK Dons need only beat Cambridge City, who are four divisions below them.

Oddly, not the first time that draw has come out; it happened two years ago as well, but Wimbledon lost their replay.

And at 3-0 to MK Cons, looks like that tie is happening whether the two sides want it to or not. Which in the case of Wimbledon, they most emphatically do not.

Hope Solo involved in some domestic dispute with boyfriend Jerramy Stevens. No charges will be filed, but I had no idea she was engaged to this guy.

Another good friendly result for the USMNT, tying at Russia 2-2. Tim Howard was magnificent, making at least four world-class saves in the second half. Jozy Altidore, after an invisible first half, did some decent work in the second half. Starting to think that Michael Bradley is the USA's most important player, and his second-half goal was absolutely specatcular.

So ESPN in the UK are showing the Luxembourg-Scotland friendly, I assume because an executive lost a bet. The national anthems are being played by what sounds like about a 15-piece band, and it has all the quality of a national anthem by a bad high school band before a bad high school football game*. They seem to know their own a bit better, it must be said.

Scottish international football: Feel the excitement.

*-Which makes sense, given the 8,000-capacity ground.

AFC Wimbledon fan: I'd rather take my girlfriend's mother to the garden center than go to that game.

Ibrahimovic with a preposterous goal against England.

    Starting to think?

I always totally thought he was only there because his dad was coach.

Lil' Bradley has the best mind/feel for the game of anyone that we've had since Reyna.

Comparing him to the likes of Clint Dempsey, I mean. I've always been a big Michael Bradley fan, and the kid keeps getting better and better.

Is the Ibra goal more impressive than Crouch's goal in March against Man City? It's close, but I would still take Crouch.

On completely the other side of the spectrum, is this the worst penalty ever?
