very funny and typical SAF hyperbole, but it was a pretty reckless play, well after the whistle.

Should SAF have been banned for his reckless boot kicking which resulted in a bloody Becks during the year before his move to Real Madrid?

Berba's t shirt was certainly funny.

Remember all of the laughs last season when Venky's ran Blackburn Rovers into the ditch?

It just gets more hilarious. They've hired a Bollywood actor to train and to possibly be one of their coaches ... without having hired a head coach.

Aston Villa ... worthless as ever.

Three games. Three losses. Fifteen goals conceded. None scored.

At least they're funny when they lose now as opposed to just boring. Their defense is at a 1981 Colts level of comical.

Poor Brad Guzan. He's actually played pretty well and they've still given up 15 in three games.

Meanwhile, Arsenal looked like Barcelona today. They're still a mess defensively, and they have absolutely no depth, but it is fun to watch Cazorla, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wilshere playing together.

Is there a bug going around young American keepers? Bill Hamid, Sean Johnson and Dan Kennedy imploded late in the season. Hope Quentin Westberg has his passport up to date.

  7. West Ham beating Manchester United 2-1 with a few minutes to go. It's on FOX and possibly the first time a live FA Cup match has been on broadcast TV in the States.

  9. Who is the color guy for FOX? Sounds a lot like John Oliver.

That I wouldn't know. My TV gets ITV. :)

Might start calling it Van Persie time. United played uninspired and like they expected to win and did almost nothing in the attacking half all game. Lucky to get the draw.

Bad day for the Championship. Leaders Cardiff went out to Macclesfield of the Conference, and Wolves got knocked out by Luton, also of the Conference. Granted, Macclesfield and Luton are both former League sides -- Luton a former top-flight side -- so they're not exactly the plucky underdogs of yore. Nottingham Forest got dumped by Oldham, and Charlton lost to Huddersfield, as well.
