Becks to PSG. I thought Asia or the Middle East, but I think that PSG might not be able to sign new players from other leagues to long term deals given the potential tax increase, so they had the money for Becks.

Shea to Stoke is a done deal.

Well, giving his salary to charity is a nice move.

Floating around Twitter re: Odemwingie ...

    "Hey, I just drove here,
    and this is crazy,
    I'm in your car park,
    So sign me maybe ..."

If this isn't sung at The Hawthorns, West Brom fans are full of fail.

    And here's the Suarez version:

    "Hey, I just dove here,
    and this is crazy,
    Inside the 18,
    So PK maybe ..."

Is Landon Donovan retiring? I know he wanted to take a break, but not being named for Honduras and not showing up for LAG camp seems odd.

I'm sure the Champions League matches were early on in the campaign...World Cup would probably be some of the poorer African or S. American nations. Gotta go where your money stretches a bit farther.

If he needs to leave the game, so be it. At this stage there isn't much more he could realistically accomplish (especially after the age of 30).

I don't know what he would do if he retired though. He would need to work because he never maximized his earning potential during his playing career. Could he coach? I'm not sure. He seems to have the polish of a front office guy, but I could see him leading the players' union as well.

I really hope he doesn't get involved with hopelessly chasing Bianca around again.
