I agree with this, but I believe this sentiment extends to all sports if the Asian gambling appetite is as huge as reported. If these syndicates are masters of manipulating events, surely they could use their middle-men and know-how to branch off into other areas.

RT @runofplay: Bob Ley reporting that matches have been tampered with in the United States, including a USMNT game.

(El Salvador was in on the fix, not USMNT.)

They've been eliminated. MLS will close up shop in June.

I went to a qualifier in Foxborough where El Salvador put up no effort.

"We expect to have Landon back in the near future, and by that I mean I would hope over the next couple of months we have that whole thing settled and he's back on the field playing for the Galaxy," Arena said Thursday in a podcast interview on the Galaxy's website.

By the time Donovan decides he wants to play again and gets back in match shape, the USMNT could be screwed.

Doesn't seem like Landon wants to play very much these days.

Citeh lose 3-1 at Southampton. Awful spill by Hart on the second and Dan Tan special OG by Barry on the third.

Might as well hand the title to Utd. at this point...

It's about time for the Von Trapps to start to learn to play without him anyway.

Ryan Giggs scores against Everton, now 21 straight seasons with at least one premier League goal. Amazing.
