It's fantastic. Especially getting rid of the old, cartoonish crest.

  2. Anyone getting MLS Live? Bought it yesterday. $50 for a season (using a promo code) isn't bad.

I like it. The red and white hoops were good also, but I could not find it in an XXL at any store.

in other news, Giggs signs for yet another year.

In other news, Inky did a happy dance.

At this point, I'm starting to think he and Sir Alex will never retire.

SAF will have to be carried out, with a belly full of claret.

As long as you don't focus on the whole long term affair with the sister-in-law thing, Giggs is the best

On this date 125 years ago, William McGregor set in motion the formation of the English Football League with this letter ...

Thank you, William McGregor. It has really become my passion over time.

Trivia question ... which club won the first league title?

The same club is also part of the answer for another question ... which clubs still play at the site they played in when the league was formed?

I imagine I'll end up buying it once the free preview of Direct Kick on TV runs out. $50 is a great deal compared to other similar packages.

I just got all the soccer channels again and I'm never able to watch them actually live, so I just set my DVR to record anything that pops up that is MLS. I'll probably get to see about 60-70% of the games that way.

I'm sure it was right there in the original bid all along. "Hey look, there's no fucking way we can hold this thing in the middle of summer, so we're moving it to winter."

Oh, good. They get to play in the high 80s/low 90s instead of in the 120s.

2-1 to Spurs. Arsenal now are 5 behind Chelski for 4th and 7 behind Spurs for 3rd. Not impossible by any means, but you have to think that they don't have the squad to do it.
