    That was fun.

Cracked up when I saw that Dempsey traded jerseys with someone after the game. Not really walking-around-shirtless weather in Denver.

And he threw snowballs at the AO section.

I hope their legs recover for Tuesday at Azteca.

Heard reports it was 110+ in Honduras. The Mexicans might find the late-evening kickoff in Azteca almost chilly after two hours running around in that.

It seems Mother Nature was on our side. I didn't feel good about that match at all considering the cobbled together lineup. You know the Costa Ricans were hating life. This morning they are saying they're going to protest.

So Costa Rica says they are going to file a protest with FIFA? Fuck them. All the shit that gets thrown on the USMNT players in Central America and they're the ones protesting?

Well, it's not like the U.S. or its fans ever overplay or complain about the road conditions in CONCACAF qualifying.

Other than sheer difficultly you mean?

Haaahahah, yes, the complaints are totally limited to "sheer difficulty."

I guess I'm not following. I've maintained that Central America is the most difficult area in the world to play a road WC qualifier. Nothing I would file a protest about. It's supposed to be difficult.

    Wahl:

"In a game that will forever be known as The SnowClásico"

Uh . . . it will? By WHOM?

A line of bull our fans and media continue to buy into, so we have excuses for losing that go beyond "We're not as good as we think we are."

And the U.S.' fans and players, as well as media, have done their share of complaining about it.

I don't recall hearing a lot of complaining. Getting hit with batteries and Ziploc bags of urine would surely suck, but most of what I've heard/read from players and fans indicate "That's how it is when you go on the road."

Where do you think is the most difficult region of the world for a World Cup qualifier? I mean, surely even you at least admit Central America is tough and intimidating. But I'd like to know where you think is the most difficult region.
