One game in and already everything is the referee's fault. It's like King Kenny never left.

Bite your ever-lovin' tongue! The Latics are primed for a wonderful...mid-level run...to the bottom half of the table and to finish, maybe 16th...15th if anything. 13th if my prayers come true.

Ross County almost upset Celtic, but Celtic scored the equalizer in the 93rd minute with about 15 seconds to go.

Two more goals for Jozy today in AZ's 3-1 win.

I'm loving beIN Sport. I've never had a chance to watch La Liga matches before (never had Gol TV). The pace in the Celta Vigo-Malaga match I watched bits of yesterday was insane.

Relax, SpikeC. Somehow, Martinez's warlock skills work again and he keeps Wigan in the Prem. I've predicted the drop the last two seasons. This year, the weaksauce of the league is so pronounced that it makes it easy for them to survive with more than a modicum of space.

As for my Gunners, Arsenal will adapt, especially when Wilshere joins Cazorla in midfield and especially when they buy another defender with the Alex Song $$$$$$. Still... the Chicago Cubs-esque attitude of Gazidis and Co. -- all is good as long as The Emirates is packed and we're making our million a game -- is past annoying. They've netted $13.4 million off the sale of Cesc, that ungrateful douchenozzle (UD) Nasri, Van Persie and Song and the purchase of 10 other players. Yet the trend is worse than unsettling, especially with the most profitable team in the Prem by a huge margin.

Sounds like they might nab the rights to the USMNT qualifier in Jamaica, too. That Qatari oil money is being put to good use (assuming you're not expecting extensive coverage of human rights abuses in Bahrain or the 2022 World Cup).

FC Sheriff does this every year. It made the Champions League playoff round in 2009 and 2010, and made the Europa League group stages due to those losses.
