Malaga got away with offsides on their second, but there were also offsides on the last two Dortmund goals. The winner was a really bad no-call.

Big-spending Qataris moaning about racism and injustice when they don't get their way. I have a sinking feeling we'll be seeing more of this in the coming decades

This is just awesome from Grant Wahl.

    José Mourinho's amazing-but-true buddy story with a 41-year-old Mexican-American man from Los Angeles http://t.co/vbvfUtUs9R

How dare Wahl humanize Mourinho like that! It's gonna be way harder to dislike him now.

That has got to be one of the classiest things a coach of big time professional team has ever done. Mad props to Mourinho for recognizing the guy and going above and beyond during what had to be some stressful parts of the season.

A deal has been struck that will allow the Pompey Supporters' Trust to take over the club.

(And no, I don't own a share. Not for £1,000 a pop. Although I will confess I'm still considering it.)

Have to admit I didn't know too much about the situation, but I read the whole story. Sounds like a dramatic understatement to say it's been a wild last few months. However, it sounds like they're finally on the right track and they got to stay in the FA, even if they're only in League 2 (which is three from the top, right?). It might be a long road back to the Premiership, but at least they're headed that way again.

There was a lot of prise for this one on Twitter, with more than one individual saying the whole "It's dusty in here!" line.

Read it twice. Just thought it was OK. Wahl wrote it like he was sure he had something special, and I found it just to be a nice little story.

I think what Mourinho did was awesome.

I say it has an outside chance of being made into a film some day.

Yep, three from the top, or the Fourth Division in old money. It'll be interesting to see what the ceiling is with fan ownership. AFC Wimbledon shot through the non-league ranks under fan ownership, but having arrived in League Two they've crashed rather resoundingly into a ceiling.

Wild last few years, more like, but certainly more so in recent months.
