Knowing what it's like to be a fan, I can't imagine what it's been like for the supporters, especially as hardcore as European soccer fans are. Quite the wild roller coaster ride.

Wigan through to the FA Cup final as Millwall supporters once again live down to their reputation, fighting themselves, the stewards and the police.

They showed one clown who was sneaking out with a police helmet under his jacket.
    Moron.

But, the news of the day: Wigan in the Cup final!!! :) I'm sure there will be good seats available on the Wigan side for the match.

They're claiming the attendance was 66,000. They could have counted everyone twice, and that would still be a stretch.

Of course, it didn't help that the game started at 5:15 and the last train back to Wigan from London is at 8:30. That math doesn't work.

Yeah, looked very empty. I didn't hear the final number, but I wonder how many "indifferent" fans were there? I heard they were going to sell off the 10K or so of Wigan's tickets to general public.

I can't imagine there were many, given that they didn't discount the tickets at all. £50 for Wigan-Millwall is ridiculous. If you want to go "experience" Wembley, there are generally plenty of tickets available for England friendlies, and even qualifiers.

ETA: Not to mention many would-be neutrals would be put off by the idea of a nice day out at a match involving Millwall.

Haha, true. And the weather didn't help at all either.

Please remind me to watch every Portland home match. That crowd, whoa!

Geographic bias…? Reyna was a breakthrough star in Europe, captaining teams when Americans were still considered unsignable. Ramos had a nice bite to his game on top of his incredible field vision. The way Reyna left the game has always left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but in regards to “best American player ever,” I’d take either of them over Donovan. There is no team that Reyna failed at making or making better. The same can’t be said for Landon.

Do I like players from Jersey? Sure. I have no idea what you are talking about in regards to New Jersey’s “contribuation.” I guess you just needed to make a swipe at me instead of actually arguing how Donovan could be better than a guy that has actually scored goals in the Champions League.

Dortmund’s first goal was not offside. The second certainly was as was Malaga’s second.
It is one of those destinations I would just really love to get out to. I’ve a reason to get to Portland. I just need to be able to schedule it correctly…

Damn, NBC isn't messing around with the EPL.

Twenty matches on NBC, 154 on NBC Sports and 380 available online.
