The shock is that we are up two against Mexico and we aren't even playing our top game.

So does Mexico fire this guy too?

 

Did he miss on purpose to keep the score line?

 

Doubt it, but I'm guessing not many fans mind.

It would be awesome if it is. I watched the kick -- it really wasn't close.

 

I've said here before that I find the US team nearly too aggravating to support... but I'll say two things tonight:

a) That was a really, really nice win. Good solid performance by not-exactly-the-A team, and a pair of very nice goals. Loved Diskerud's move to set up the second one.

b) If I find the US frustrating, holy shit, I can't even imagine what it's like to be a Mexico supporter. Clearly they're not as talented as they appeared a couple of years ago, but their underachievement is just spectacular.
