The Arsenal-Forest game was crazy. Lichaj with two goals, including one that looked like something that Le Tissier would have scored. Another iffy penalty against Aresenal and it looked like the taker kicked it twice. I’m sure Wenger will be apoplectic.

Wenger's face indeed was classic especially when the ref stopped play for an injured player when Arsenal was on the counterattack. The second penalty was legit. It was a bad tackle from behind in the box. The penalty should have been rekicked because his right foot clearly slid into the path of the ball.

Gonzalez to Mexico seems like a done deal, pending FIFA approval on the switch.

I love the FA Cup. United playing away to Yeovil Town is fabulous. Same with Spurs heading to Newport County.

The FA Cup is a different animal. Getting a game against a small team like MK Dons is actually quite a disappointment for the small clubs. They relish the chance to play the Citys and Uniteds, and it’s more financial than anything else. Hosting a top flight team is a thrill, certainly, but it’s better for the minnows to go to the big grounds like Old Trafford to get the really big payday. You can be sure the small clubs playing at home won’t be disappointed by a draw (and a replay in the big house).

It's always hilarious when the management at the club loses their shit after a home tie against a top team, knowing that they get TV revenue and a percentage of the gate for the replay.

Chelsea v. Leicester is a quality game if you want to watch the second half.

If Burnley lose to Crystal Palace my house won't have a wall without a hole in it.

Arsenal are presently beating Bournemouth in the quietest stadium in the league. I'm taking my footy-mad boy to his rep practice this morning but recording the big game—Liverpool! Man City!—for us to watch after.
