$1.5m per year (plus endorsements) to ease into retirement while living in LA might salve any hatred he develops.

    That's what Gerrard thought.

Artificial turf, long road trips, summer heat, culture shock, and clattery, clumsy play all make $1.5 million seem pretty paltry, especially because $1.5 million is pretty paltry for these guys. He's going from Old Trafford to the StubHub Center. Given Ibra's ego, I suspect that's going to be hard for him to take.

Incidentally, I'm in Zurich to watch a couple of Egyptian friendlies. My first time seeing Mo Salah in the flesh. Pretty stoked.

I wonder if this means that Sweden has given him the firm thumbs down for this summer?

They probably should. They were awful at Euro and it was in part because of him. Not really his fault, but as soon as a Swede got the ball, he looked for Ibra. Who had six guys on him. Sweden got one shot in three group-stage games.

Lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of humans.

Yeah, but on Saturday, we have the first practice for my daughter's U-14 sub-travel team. I'm stoked to see if we can improve on our 1 win record from the Fall season.

Two wins seems like a good and reasonable goal.

At this moment, the family favorites are 3rd, 11th and 17th in their respective leagues.

But not loving the Giallorossi's chances here.

A year? He made that in less than three months at Man Utd

But if United released him outright?
