Just over half an hour played in Munich, Bayern 0-3 Real Madrid, 0-4 on aggregate.

Fulham and Cardiff are gone from the Premier League, and Bristol Rovers are out of the Football League after 94 years.

The mighty Portsmouth, meanwhile, finish 13th in League Two, having been in relegation danger until a month ago. And had they not conceded late in a 3-3 draw today, they'd have finished ninth.

Norwich loses against Chelski tomorrow and the relegation battle is over.

I may have commented about this before, but Norwich owe the Premier League fixture compiler several swift kicks in the nuts. Last four games: Man United away, Liverpool at home, Chelsea away, Arsenal at home.

Can you imagine the howls from Mourinho or Wenger if they got a closing fixture list like that?

How about Sunderland's stretch drive? Yet they somehow take 7 of 9 points from the Manchesters and Chelsea. Miracles happen, Gus.

I'd like to apologize for failing to wish everyone a happy St. Totteringham's Day last week.

Then Norwich should have put points in the bank against the teams at their own level. Canaries have been boring, can't score and deserve to go down.

Not disagreeing, just noting what an amazing run by the Black Cats. Wigan did much the same thing two years ago.
