This didn't result in a goal, but holy shit, what a touch:

I have to say, that Atletico played like a bunch of thugs. They were well organized, well conditioned and committed. But I thought they played a dirty and cheap game.

Overshadowed by the Champions League final but QPR beat Derby Co. 1-0 on a 90th-minute goal by Zamora on Saturday to earn the 20th spot in the Premier League. QPR played the last 30 minutes plus stoppage time with 10 men. That means Joey 'Hitler hair" Barton is back!

I also read the QPR is 177 million pounds in debt but that returning will be worth at least 120 million pounds.

Jozy was pretty awful this year at Sunderland. He seemed too slow and was easily pushed off of the ball (which is bad for a target forward). He had a few nice passes but he really didn't finish any of his chances.

They'll piss that away by going after Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole AND Frank Lampard. Three washed-up has-beens who otherwise would be setting sail for MLS and one last payday, Becks- and Henry-style.

The first 500 words should have been 1st-person video clip that usually accompanies these kinds of pieces.

The story once it begins is good.

What boring soccer they're playing right now.

    0-0, 51st minute.

Heh. Mix Diskerud off a rebound. How about that. 1-0, 75th minute.

USMNT 2-0 over Azebaijan. Goals by Diskerud and Johannson.

Not all that thrilled that the U.S. was nil-nil in the 74th minute against FIFA's No. 85 team. And Altidore still looks lost. They're going to need a lot of creativity and brilliance from Michael Bradley, I believe.
