Is that all? Hell, I figured it cost them a lot more than that.

So now we know FIFA isn't even a high-dollar whore.

Not only can't Altidore buy a goal right now, he's getting screwed by the refs, too.

    OUTSTANDING goal for Fabian Johnson.

    Agreed, good sir.

But that cannot overshadow watching this MLS defense. For all the good work Klinsmann has done with this side, this group cannot survive World Cup-level matches. Tim Howard won't survive without better help.

    That, too, is correct.

How much vinyl wrap did U.S. Soccer use in Harrison, anyway?

Which is why I propose amnesty if Howard wants to punch a defender after every goal.

Now, that would be must-see TV.

Just put padded gloves on Howard's hands.
    1) Break those hands and the problem gets worse (though no slam on Brad Guzan … goalkeeping has never been an issue with the U.S.).
    2) Otherwise, the Americans would run out of defender wannabes in a hurry.

If people watched this defense often enough, maybe those who claim Howard yells too much would better understand why.

And that's not to say Howard is perfect. But I'd guess 75 percent of the goals surrendered in qualifying were due to poor defense - not wonder strikes or GK follies.

Just saw where Giuseppe Rossi got the late ax from Italy's WC squad for the second straight tournament. He's 27. If he can't make it at his peak, he has no shot four years from.

Born and raised in New Jersey but too good for the U.S. Fuck you, doucher. I'm glad it worked out for you.
