George Vescey wrote a New York Times column about Major League Soccer (which seems oddly annotated with links online... and reminded me how the paper of record punctuates.) He addressed some of the resulting comments on his blog.

 

His take on Messi was idiotic.

Harry Kane!

 

England has a bunch of outstanding young players, Kane especially among them. Maybe by next year's Euro they'll all be in the squad and England can finally punch its weight internationally. They are a bit forward-heavy though.
