On FOX or NBC? Thanks for the heads-up.

NBCSN ... but it airs in the middle of the night. Set your DVR.

Word around the Twitter is Gareth Bale's sale to Real Madrid has happened.

Ivanovic elbows Benteke in the face, no red, then scores winning goal on offside play. Then high kicks Benteke in the shoulder/neck, no call, and Terry's hand ball in the box not called. Definitely a 12-on-11 uphill battle for Villa today at Chelsea.

Suarez is a punk but he's lucky he didn't get infected after biting Ivanovic last year.

Ivanovic might be the dirtiest player in the Premier League at present. Thought that about him last year.

Yeah, Villa probably deserved a point today, but considering this a second trip to a Big 4 squad in four days was scheduled for them (Villa claims it was offered a list of dates to make up the game, which as originally scheduled in Round 3, conflicts with Chelsea playing Bayern in the UEFA Super Cup, and this was not what they requested) and how badly they were dumptrucked (8-0 two days before Christmas) by them at Stamford Bridge last year, I think most Villa fans aren't too sad.

Villa certainly look greatly improved from last year.

If Bale goes, I'd guess Spurs spending will likely continue. Willian evidently has already had a medical, and rumors have Roma's Erik Lamela and Miralem Pjanic heading there as well...

Except on the uniform front. Miss the Genting Casino logos. And waiting for Marc Albrighton to feature.
