Must admit, I have a rooting interest with Christian Pulisic. But damn, he looked good in the time he was out there. Impacted play with nearly every touch.

I have a feeling that U.S. soccer is going to be a fun watch when he and Jordan Morris begin to take over up front.

If I had any interest in watching basketball, I would have looked it up. I didn't know the NIT was on. I didn't know when the NCAA tournament started. In the end, basketball is about as far away from my interests as possible.

That performance on Friday was played out of position. It wasn't until Klinsmann put people in their correct spots did the team coalesce against a pathetically bad Guatemala team.

    Klinsmann should still be fired.

Jordan Morris is ok. I don't know that he'll turn into anything, but he has a ton of speed and isn't afraid to shoot. Whether that sticks around long enough for him to get better positionally and get a better touch on the ball, I don't know. I'm certainly hoping so.

You might want to check it out.

    They actually score.

    No thanks. Basketball bores me.

The U23 team didn't just struggle. It was horrendously bad. I was shocked to see how overmatched that team was. The U.S. looked slow, sloppy, out of position and often positively bewildered by the Colombians' moves and skills.

Telling stat: U.S. had zero shots on goal. Not a one. I can't think of a single good scoring chance the Americans created.

Great second half to El Classico even with the BS foul on Bale.

I'd hate to be the guy on mop duty at the beIN announcer studios after one of those games.

So much excitement for an inconsequential match.

Dramatic UCL games today. As miserable as Ronaldo seems as a teammate, he gave through big time today. And it would be great to watch Pelligrini go against Pep in the next round or the finals.

Huge FA Cup quarterfinal replay tomorrow that kind of snuck up on me: Man U at West Ham. Winner plays Everton at Wembley on April 23.

He's one of the two greatest players in the world. Even in the egocentrics Hall of Fame that is any Real dressing room, surely there can't be any teammates stupid enough to resent the fact he's a prick. People put up with a lot for victory. Otherwise Curt Schilling would be dead by now.

I'm sure they like having him on their team. But I watch a decent number of RM games and he is just always bitching for the ball, even when teammates are wide open and score.

Saw a couple of tweets this morning about Klinsi to Everton. That would be an interesting move if he would jump off of the US Soccer ship.
