I have a lot of frustrations in my life, just like anyone else.

But, trust me, this is not one of them.

Football, bloody hell.

 

Leicester City wins the Premier League. That's a pretty big deal.

 

Man United, Liverpool and the like will never blow it up and rebuild the Leicester way. They're trapped on the "Europe or bust" treadmill.

But I promise you there's a shitload of mid-table and second-flight teams watching intently.

 

If you're any sort of gambler, how do you not throw down a couple of pounds or shillings or whatever on that? Just figure you're throwing it away like on a lottery ticket.

 

A bunch of idiots are going to put money on Newcastle, Norwich, and Sunderland (whichever one of the three stays up) and lower the odds for next year's title prop bet.

Not much of a soccer fan, but the Leicester City championship run is great stuff, and this Wright Thompson story was a great read:
