The Stanley Cup Playoffs

Yes I have. And Yes, he's damn good. Yes, he's great for hockey. But so is Alex Ovechkin.

Not trying to pick a fight, just throwing a statement out there.

 

Do you think it would be good for the league if Crosby advanced in the playoffs?

It's nice to see the league - or at least things associated with the league, like NBC -- actually promoting an aspect of the game people can recognize. Would it be beneficial to have that promotional tool keep playing as long as possible?

 

You think the reason Ovechkin isn't getting the same pub is Crosby is because Crosby won the scoring title? Or because Crosby isn't playing golf right now? Do you think that might be why he gets more attention than Ovechkin? It's kind of hard to hype a guy who isn't even playing.

The Penguins fans on this board are known Pittsburgh fans and have always shown that. They are very far from bandwagon jumpers.

 

And I made it a point to say "except" for the fans. I have no doubt about the veracity of mustardbased's faity in his team.

The longer Crosby plays in the playoffs, the better it is for the NHL, I was simply making a statement about how a lot of people are jumping on board.
