Apparently, beating the rap wasn't the only thing on her mind during the trial.

Holmes’ lawyers asked Davila to approve the May 30 prison reporting time to her two weeks to sort out several issues, including child care for her 1-year-old son William and 3-month-old daughter Invicta.

Is the father not going to be available for child care?

And $452 million in restitution ... good luck with that.

She'd be exhibit A in any initiative to restrict certain women from having children.

Unpopular opinion: I thought that piece was well written. And I think the writer knew she was an easy mark, she alludes to that throughout the story. She did lean into it really hard. Although anyone I know who goes to Burning Man isn’t a “moneyed bohemian,” so I’m not sure where that came from.

Burning Man’s backers are all Silicon Valley tech types.

My admittedly exterior thought of Burning Man is it's Bonnaroo without the music. Bonnaroo is all about the music, so what's the point of Burning Man?

I know one person who is a Burning Man regular. She's a Silicon Valley lawyer who seems to spend 80% of her life vacationing in Europe.
