He was 375 million times better than Christian Fucking Laettner.

That's nice, but that's not why Laettner was on the team.

You can argue who could have made room for Isiah all you want but he wasn't going to be on that team. He was not a consideration.

Isiah was president of the NBAPA from 1988 to 1994, so at least some NBA players must have thought he was ok.

Which, speaking of the NBAPA, they should have told David Stern to tell USA Basketball, "no more college players set foot on the court for the Olympic team. Period. We're done sending the junior junior JV team."

Except, of course, that no one gave a shit.

Apparently Jordan gives enough of a shit to dig it all up again 28 years later.

From the way they were talking on the documentary, it didn't seem like the choice was between Isaiah Thomas or any one player. It sounded like it was between Isaiah Thomas and Jordan, Pippen, Magic and Bird. As in, if Isaiah was on the team they'd all have said no. If that was the case, that at least a third of the team didn't want him there, then it doesn't seem like they had much choice.

Isiah Thomas was such a giant twatwaffle that Michael Jordan devoted back-to-back weeks to telling us that he was a giant twatwaffle.

Michael Jordan was such a giant twatwaffle he got into a fight with Steve Kerr.

I heard that guy passed away, but if he was alive there's no doubt in my mind Jordan would have hired him to run security for the Hornets and paid him well just so they could play quarters for that $20 the guy took from him 20+ years ago.

He just died recently. He'd been running security at Jordan's home.
