Hey, this job involves bringing me drinks at the pool, raking the leaves and shoveling the snow, all while shirtless. Who said anything about experience?

I guess since this has turned into a chat room, I'll move this to the anything goes board since journalism is long gone from the discussion.

Two questions: Is this an unprecedented threadjack? I mean, it was a legitimate discussion on one board and got, um, jacked so hard it landed on another ... Second, jeez, don't you people ever sleep?

I propose that we waive the nomination and voting process and immediately present a special SportsJournalists.com Threadjack of the Year Award to Sportschick and IJAG for turning (not so)Clever username's not-so-clever thread into one of the most entertaining in SJ history.

And perhaps (not so)Clever username deserves special mention as the 25-year-old male most desperate for a date.

I think you just turned "SportsJournalists.com poster least likely to use the spell check button" into a contest.

And we have sportswriter, not a junky (or whatever his name is) to thank for the jack. All because he dissed Eva and Tony's age difference.

As for sleep, well I do work several time zones away, ya know.

Thank you, IJAG. Even editors need editors at times.
And I know my typing is sloppy on here.

And, no, I don't spel chek mots of my psots.

All this because I disagreed with the AP's decision to put an engagement notice on the sports wire. I should probably change the thread title to something like, "Spnited is a bitter old degenerate. Discuss."

Methinks clever is glad he already got hired before sportschick found out he takes himself WAY too seriously.

    Thank you, IJAG.
After all, you are the one who lured me into this thread.
