    This type of thing is fine for the entertainment wire, but unless Tony Parker starts throwing up bricks because his legs are too tired from all the sex he won't be having when he gets married, this has nothing to do with sports. I agree with what you say about some of the best sports stories being about things away from the field, but an athlete getting engaged to an actress is nothing new, extraordinary or interesting. I understand the point about Parker playing for one of the best teams in the league and Longoria being on an extremely popular show, but I'm a Yankees fan and a Lost fan, and if Jeter started dating Evangeline Lilly I wouldn't give two shits.
