I blame the hip hop culture surrounding cycling.

Prudhomme and McQuaid should be out as well. The entire UCI needs to be stripped bare, blow to pieces and start fresh.

I wish he had been kicked out before the prologue, but I'm kinda happy to see him booted after he killed himself over 16 stages.

I guess the Chicken is choked.

At this point, I wish the entire peloton would finish the rest of the race in slow-mo as a protest against doping in the sport.

    What's Rasmussen doping with? Heroin?

Agreed. This thing needs an SMU death penalty. Two years or so of no sanctioned racing and start all over. It has become worse than wrestling, if that was ever possible.

It's worse, because at least wrasslin admits to being a fraud.

I can not imagine the anger among the clean riders. The dirty jackholes are going to end up ruining the careers of the clean (assuming there are some) professionals.

Does the second-place guy get the yellow before Thusday's stage or is it awarded to the new leader after Thursday's stage?

You chaps who are serious recreational cyclists should enter the 2008 Tour. You'll be the only people in the sport left who are eligible. At least I HOPE you'll pass the tests.

Based on Michael's suggestion, your 2008 Tour de France champion is here. :D
