You haven't argued with very many Gator fans, have you? Start with this premise: they're always right. Or so they think.

If ATM gave up 65 to Kansas State, how many damn points will they give up to Tech Saturday?

Tech may have 65 by half.

That's wonderful IF IF IF you are likely to get the ball only one more time. The more possessions there are, the more likely chasing that point will come back to haunt you.

If you are down 14-6 in the second quarter and score a TD, you do not go for 2, even though it would tie the game.

    Why?

Because that 12 (if you miss) is suddenly 19 and 26 if you score TDs (letting the opposition win at 20 and 27), and it's 22 and 29 if you tack on a FG (letting the opposition win with 23 and 30). 20-23-27-30 are all common scores when a team has 14.

It's not absolute, of course, but going for 2 is almost never the right thing until you reach the fourth quarter (and preferably very late in the game).

Not necessarily by half, but this one is on the list.

I wish Sheffield was playing instead of Potts.

Funny how Potts is now the "back-up" for the second time.

Three Florida defensive starters may not play. Get on this one before the line drops too far.

Potts probably has a stronger arm, but Sheffield is a lot more mobile. What Sheffield did to the Purple Pussycats in the first half 2 weeks ago was amazing. 370 yards and 5 TD.

Blitz just kissed a stranger, and doesn't know why.

My guess is they'll both get a chance to play. Hell, Leach might let Billy Joe Tolliver take a couple snaps.
