    Of course Mizzou couldn't have gotten a bid that year, because no conference gets more than two.

    Yeah, forgot about that. Point is, KU wasn't the least deserving team that season.

    Agree that the Vandals need one more win to really lock in a bowl bid. And yes, they've still got the "meat" of the WAC schedule left to play.

    That being said, I think it's a close game at Nevada. Both teams prefer to run the ball, and the defenses will stack the line. Which quarterback performs better?

    Also, it's funny that as much as all those teams Songbird mentioned would love to beat Boise State, the best scenario for the WAC is Boise winning out and getting a BCS bid. That leaves the three automatic WAC berths for other teams.

    Not to mention bringing in more loot from a BCS game than all of the other WAC bowl games combined and multiplied by eight.
