The Mighty Gopher is not feared today.

he was awful in the first half. He's played a nice second half. Doesn't mean he had an epiphany at halftime on how to play QB. Let's see if he can have two good games in a row.
    Still, he's awful.

  3. What was the name of the stud player (running back?) Iowa State had a few years ago? I am drawing a complete blank.

    Seneca Wallace?

Nice to see Kafka transformed into a quarterback before it got too late ... .

That would be 2,000-yard rusher Troy Davis. And Nebraska just committed its sixth turnover today, with four coming in the red zone. On behalf of other Big 12 North school fans, this is absolutely hilarious to watch.

Of course, Iowa State just had a 40-some-yard field goal blocked, and Nebraska returned it to the Iowa State 35.

  6. Yep!
That's the guy I was trying to think of.
    Thanks

    Yes.

His metamorphosis was impressive, especially after the trial of the first quarter.

Iowa State still leads but is punting from mid-field with about 4 minutes to go.

ISU's last win in Lincoln was in 1977.

And make that seven turnovers for Nebraska. Iowa State ball at midfield with 2:51 to go. Nebraska has one timeout left.
