Cincinnati up, 21-0 on Louisville, with Pike's replacement (Collaros) going 12-for-13, 185 yards, 2TDs.

Iowa State would have to run the table and finish 9-3 to even sniff the Cotton Bowl and they still have to play OSU & Missouri. They've got a shot to finish 7-5 if they can beat A&M & CU though.

My guess is the Jayhawks are Jerryworld bound.

Speaking of the MAC, kudos to your Ball State Cardinals, 29-27 winners against Eastern Michigan! MiQuale Lewis (26-301) and Cory Sykes (23-203) with huge days rushing to compensate for the fact that Ball U. finished with exactly 1 yard passing.

Mighty Idaho trails 14-0 late in the first quarter in Reno.

Should've got them in the poll when I had the chance....

Not no more they are. Western's up 14-10. JB's covering that game, if I'm not mistaken.

Ah, there's plenty of ball game left to be played in Reno.

Two quick Vandal TDs make it 21-14 Nevada with about 11 minutes left in the 2Q. The teams already have combined for about 450 yards.

Another defensive battle in the WAC!

And, an update from the Ivy League: Dartmouth breaks its 17-game losing streak with a 28-6 win over visiting Columbia.

    Congrats to the Big Green!

Nebraska losing to Iowa State - I am stunned.

And three cheers for Ball State coach Stan Parrish who breaks his 23 year, 35 game losing streak with a win over Eastern Michigan.

Third-and-27 and Kiffin calls a swing pass.

    Grow a pair.

I loved Herbstreit losing it when Lee Corso said Arkansas "shot its wad" against Florida. Can a Deadspin expose be far behind?

And it's over in Terre Haute.

The Sycamores' long losing streak is over.

Geez, I can't believe Washington sucks this much. Oregon is good, but they shouldn't be pounding the Huskies this much. Makes that win over USC look that much more puzzling.

Did I already miss the back and forth on Bob Griese suggesting NASCAR driver Juan Montoya was out getting a taco during the telecast of the Ohio State-Minnesota game?
