Watching this OSU-USC game and I realize why this ref looks familiar - he's just not very good. Of course, the Pac 10 takes the referee from one of its more infamous games (the Oregon-Oklahoma game) and makes him the conference coordinator of officials. He also moonlights in the UFL.

 

In a variety of games I've watched the last few weeks, it seems as if they've made pass defense next to impossible with the tight calling of pass interference.

 

They blew a 14 point lead against Michigan this year. They tried their best to choke.

Could have been a late hit or face mask on that play. The refs just watched it and called nothing.

Rodgers is very lucky he's not injured.

Jay Stricherz was the ref at the USC-OSU game - his crew usually doesn't have a problem throwing a flag. The fact that I know what his name is should indicate it has been burned into my memory.
