By the way, Bianchi goes on the warpath about Florida offense. Looks like bulletin-board material this week:

Also, Tebow doesn't talk to the media after the game. More than like, a SMD (Steve McClain Decision).

There are some good arguments for not giving a shit about the rule violation, but this isn't one of them. So if someone is 20 yards from the end zone running free and the clock strikes zero, the run ends? This isn't basketball.

Are you just being stubborn by asking this? Or do you really not understand the eight different explanations of dead-ball foul that have been given?

    Pretty sure that's a joke.

And I don't know why folks are still arguing the Terrence Cody helmet thing. The conference office said it was not a penalty and should not have been called, yet people still feel compelled to argue that a flag should have been thrown.

I would link the Andy Staples story again, but I've already done that twice and if people can't dig back a few pages then that's on them.

If Cody was on his side of the line of scrimmage, it would have been a live ball, and something that theoretically could have been reviewed if UT had grabbed up the ball and ran it in. He was not even looking at the play behind him after he blocked it, so he could not have been thinking, "play's dead, time to celebrate." The point is, it was inches from being a potentially boneheaded play for Alabama, and if it were a live play, it most certainly should have been called. Unless you really like playoff-hockey-style refereeing.

Damn, I didn't think anyone would think that was real.

Hondo still wonders why his wife keeps him out of the attic in December

When it comes to Mike Slive, you can't rule anything out.

The point is even if it was a live play, it's STILL A DEAD-BALL FOUL.
