Okie State may not be in the national title hunt, but it is ranked No. 15 in the BCS and No. 14 in the AP. Colorado is 2-4 and a sneeze away from canning its coach.

Nice of North Carolina to wear Duke's colors on a national TV broadcast. Even the helmets and numbers look darker than the traditional Carolina blue.

What's the point of having a distinct, trademark, indentifiable school color - when you see that shade of blue, you know it's the Heels - and then not wear it at home?

Does ESPN feel it has to protect the image of Lord Bowden?
Clearly, with under two mins left in the half, they went to a shot of the FSU sideline and Bobby was approaching the gaggle around Chris Ponder.
Anxious words were being spoken between Bobby and his staffers before the assistants sort of motioned Bobby back out of the huddle.
ESPN quickly cut away to another shot.
This FSU program's in disarray, so why can't we watch it unravel?
Those with TiVo or DirecTV DVR's can simply rewind and watch for yourself.

    Editor's Note:
Disarray compared to the good 'ol days of FSU football.

Coach Bowden needs to hang up the whistle. This whole season (nay, the past couple even) has been an absolute traveshamockery. The sad thing is that he's the only person who fails to realize that he's not running the show and hasn't been for a while.

Erin Andrews should have gone straight to Jimbo for the interview.

It is amazing to watch this game and watch Florida State play without passion and have no clue what in the hell is going on. I mean -- 11 penalties and we're not even at the ten minute mark of the third quarter? What the hell is going on down there?

Will things really get better if/when Fisher takes over?

I don't know anything about him.

But I do know about math -- can someone explain, with 4 minutes left in the THIRD quarter, why in the hell Florida State went for two there?

I mean, the 13 penalties, the dropped passes, the poor clock management and now that -- this is a train wreck.

Uhhh ... to cut the margin to three points? I think most coaches would have done that.

Damn, FSU's wide receivers take some hits and keep running. They get yards after the catch. I suspect it might because they're coached by Lawrence Dawsey, who was one of the toughest, physical WRs I ever saw on the college level.

Bobby isn't the only Bowden in action tonight.

Terry's North Alabama Lions - with their 21 Division I-A transfers - is hammering the shit out of Valdosta State over on CBS College Sports. 48-13 with two minutes to go in the third.
