Girls and The Walking Dead are much more popular among the audiences that read TV reviews. Check out the comments sections on typical midseason reviews.

Alan Sepinwall loves Small Town High and hates Small Town West.
    It's so obvious.
    Worst sports editor ever.

Brooklyn Nine Nine has gone from a bad Parks and Rec ripoff to quite possibly the best comedy on TV.

Similar to how Parks and Rec went from a bad Office ripoff to possibly the best comedy on TV. And The Office went from a bad British Office ripoff to possibly the best show on TV.

I guess the lesson is give these guys some time to settle in and work out the kinks.

Watching the 80s show Crime Story on Hulu. Some great guest stars. Ray Sharkey, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Ted Levine has probably never played a better character, What's kind of amazing is that Dennis Farina and Anthony Denison hadn't done much acting at all before getting the gig. One of the great season one endings (I'm guessing they may not have known if they'd be back) and it only went two in any case.

Andrew Clay, also. Made a good gangster.

Greatly enjoy "The Good Wife," and I like the extraordinary randomness of what happened.

Crime Story was a video essay on cars and men's hats. A GREAT video essay.

I think they're both now five episodes in, and I'm really enjoying "About a Boy" and "Growing Up Fisher."

Adding "Person of Interest," "NCIS" and "The Goldbergs," and that's a pretty solid TV night.

Binged through True Detective through the Comcast Watchathon. Thought it was good but very similar to numerous other serial killer shows. Good idea though pairing two troubled guys and seeing how they pair off with each other. Damn, Louisiana looked like a place you wouldn't want to hang around
