Vince Gilligan wasn't a bad plug-in, but they lost a crucial dynamic when Glover left for rapdom.

I watched it last night. And laughed a few times. Something is wrong.

As great as Mad Men, Game of Thrones and The Good Wife are, more and more as Sunday approaches the hour I look forward to most is Silicon Valley/Veep. Both shows are hilarious and pair well.

    Agreed. Outstanding hour of comedy.

It's not bad. They rarely use the truth of how everything went down...but the premise is there.

I keep meaning to pick up "Turn." Love the concept of the show and think it's got boundless potential for intrigue.

The chicks are pretty busty as well.

I have started avoiding watching anything that premieres in the spring. It seems that those shows are given zero chance to do anything and if they aren't an immediate hit (see: Glee, which showed its pilot directly after the American Idol finale) then they are axed and never get a chance to really get any sort of foothold. Out of the 11 shows I record on my DVR, only six were renewed and three of those were CBS shows. Out of the five cancelled, only one was past its second season. When you yank shows that have only done 20 episodes, how can you have an accurate representation of what the show is going to do?

Shows with a famous lead -- networks are paying for them to bring in a big audience right away -- generally get a shorter leash. Nobody knew the cast of Seinfeld or Cheers when it started and barely knew anyone from Friends so the expectations were lower. But if audiences don't immediately jump on board for a show starring Christopher Meloni, Sean Hayes or Greg Kinnear it's not going to be worth the salaries their making.

"The Crazy Ones" bites the dust. Awful show with no plot -- it won't be missed. SMG has been in some pretty bad shows of late. The last two seasons of "Buffy" were historically dumb.

This season of Veep has been incredible. So many great lines throughout. I was worried that not having Jonad in the office would be a problem, but I think it's made things even better.

    What a disappointment that was.

Maybe we can see Bob Benson now in the Detroit office.
