I'm not going to go as far as to say the series ended when Charlie Sheen walked, because I thought Kutcher had a good season or two at the start. But it's been absolutely unwatchable lately.

That was a GREAT way to end a first season. It's like the end of Empire Strikes Back...not a happy ending with a pretty bow on top.

They did tie some things up. And there was that last bit with Garrett, but they definitely gave some storylines room to move forward.

I also have to watch it again, but it seemed intentionally unclear about the status of one of the main characters.

It reminded me of the end of a major event in the comics. The main storyline ends, but it also serves to start something new. That is how it should be done.

Upon the praise it seems to get from some here, I started Season 1 of Parenthood. Up to episode 6.
Wow! This family needs to get some friends! My family back home is tight, but not "hangout at gramma and grandpa's house every friggin' night while having a backyard BBQ." :D
But wow...give me more of that curvy lawyer...RAWR!
The storyline is pretty good, it will keep me around since I already dl'd the whole season and I am short of TV shows.

The first season was good but still might be the worst.

The last episode of Agents of SHIELD was, quite deliberately, exactly like the endings of just about every Marvel movie in the Avengers canon. A lot of fighting that wraps up the existing story line, then a coda lead-in to the next one (or next movie). The only difference was you had to wade through commercials before the coda, not the endless credits.

OK, liked the season finale for Silicon Valley. They had been losing me, but that was a pretty good finale.

Unbeknownst to me, Season 7 of Californication began 8 weeks ago. Binge watching now.

I loved the show then despised it then put up with it and hoped it would die a graceful death.

Thru 2 episodes of S7 I'm rather impressed.

They lost me at the child of Heather Graham and David Duchovny being a fat loser.

If those two had a kid, he would be crushing it. :D
