The comedic timing is spot-on so far. And Michael Imperioli is perfect for his part.

Imperioli is always great. I'm surprised his other shows haven't done better. I think people see him and can't disassociate him from his Sopranos character.

First 2 episodes of S7 of Californication leads you to believe it could be a good season.

Then it lost its nerve again and is ticky-tack, again.

I haven't seen anything this season that leads me to believe it could be at the level of past seasons. Heather Graham getting naked would help considerably.

It certainly hasn't hurt her past efforts.

Yeah, she's crazy hot, especially for being in her 40s.

Given some of the insanely hot women who have been on that show, Camilla Luddington, Eva Amurri, and Addison Timlin to name a few, the bar has been set pretty high.

Veep has been absolutely fantastic this year and Sunday's debate episode may have been the best of the season.

That's the only episode I have left to catch up on. This has been its best season, for sure. Definitely in the top 2-3 comedies out there.

I'm glad Last Comic Standing is back.

I have mixed feelings about the new format.

It's nice having bigger names as judges. I know Roseanne and Keenen haven't toured in a zillion years, but people forget what a tremendous standup she was before she got her show. Russell Peters is clearly looking to become more recognizable. He can sell out any basketball arena in the country, but probably isn't recognized in most cities. This will change that.

My issue with the previous tryouts was that they would have nobodies off the street mixed in with guys who had been touring for decades. The majority of this group are pretty funny, but I get the sense they're looking for a specific type, which may be the smart way to do it, but won't make for super interesting TV.

Anyone watch "Halt and Catch Fire" on AMC? I was just getting started in college (or out) when the show is set and I find the stuff fascinating. The lead guy does a nice job. Here's hoping it's not a bad substitute for "Mad Men" on Sun nights.

I'm intrigued...and the blonde is cute.
I thought it was based on something that actually happened, but I see it's just a tale of fiction.
Still, it'll be on my DVR. I don't understand most of the lingo, but I like period pieces for the nostalgia.

I'll definitely be watching the next episode of "Halt and Catch Fire." Liked where it was going.

Friday: Netflix drops Season 2 of "Orange Is The New Black."
