When I tune in, I'm hoping for a pairing that can't stand each other. Passive-aggressive behavior in the wild is always fun.

Finished off the second (and last) season of Crime Story over the weekend. One of the great season finales.

And Sharknado 2 certainly didn't start off slowly did it?

Masters of Sex continues to operate on an extremely high level. Though my concern is that they've somehow turned Libby into a condescending, racist Betty Draper. She never displayed that sort of shittiness in season one, though I guess being married to an ass like Bill Masters would make someone snap at some point.

The Swiss family Robinson puts the people on 'Naked and Afraid.'
turning survival in thriving is just a matter of Protestant work ethic.

Previews for Gotham have gotten my attention. I suspect, like most highly-hyped Fox shows it will either be a spectacular success or be off the air in six weeks.

I tripped upon the new lawyer comedy with Martin Lawrence and Kelsey Grammer. Gave it one try.

I have never been so irritated by a laugh track in my life. Sometimes, you just don't notice it. But this just seemed so forced.

It was amusing. My teen laughed real hard. But you're right on the laugh track. There was a huge laugh in the first minute for something that wasn't even funny.

I'll give it another try, but it has the feel of something that will gather on the VCR and be binge watched when there's nothing else on.

Bring back Shanaynay and you wouldn't need a laugh track.

I remember reading one time that the laugh track they use on many sitcoms is essentially the same one they've been using since the 1950s. So some of the people you hear laughing have been dead for 50 years.

I had read somewhere that they were talking about bringing Frasier back and that the only thing preventing that from happening was David Hyde Pierce. Since the proposed show was supposed to be called "The Brothers Crane" or something like that, if Pierce wasn't involved, it wouldn't happen.

I'm guessing Kelsey Grammer just needs more cash to pay off his next round of ex-wives.
