I wanted to like Mulaney more than I did. I'm hoping it gets better and with that cast, it should.

I didn't watch. The radio promos with his wife were enough to turn me off completely.

I didn't understand those ads at all. They were idiotic. He's not married on the show, so I don't know what they were thinking.

Oh, man. I'm the third option.

I totally see it as a ripoff of "Seinfeld." And yet ... I don't think I mind. That show had the feel of an old comedy classic, Short and Gould are going to be hilarious in their roles. That had at least five full-fledged, roll-over laughs in it for me, anyway.

I liked it. But I wanted to like it more. I agree about it seeming like a Seinfeld ripoff. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It's pretty blatant.

Pedrad was sublime. And Mulaney seems to get his personality through even while spending much of the show as the straight man because all the characters around him are such ... characters.

And you noted the "Problem Bitch" thing tying everything together from time to time? Totally "Seinfeld."

New music video for "Better Call Saul" which begins in Feb.

Looks like the show will start with Saul using his real name, James McGill. Should be interesting to see how much they nod to Breaking Bad people.

I heard Bill Burr on a podcast a few months ago and he said he had not been contacted about being on the show. I hope this changes.

I'm giving "Californication" a try on Netflix streaming.

Bradley, my takeaway after doing the Californication thing: Season 1 is TV excellence. Season 2 is up there but not Season 1. Season 3 sucks but the finale is excellent. Season 4-5-6-7 are up and down. Hard to tell if it wins more battles than it loses the last 4 seasons. But the dinner scene in S4 E12 is one of those TV moments.

Also, Carlton Banks for the win last night on DWTS.

If that's the best thing on TV on a given night, I'll turn on the radio.
