When the son and his teacher come in and she presents him with his diploma ... wow, that was amazing. Total dust storm. I basically saw the final two episodes out of 40 and was totally drawn in. I eventually will be buying the whole series.

I had been hit and miss until these final hour-long eps kicked in. And you're so right about the diploma scene, too. Goosebump City...along with plenty of dust, I admit.

My DVR is set for the show with Alyssa Milano doing sex scenes.

    Oh, yes it is.

God, on one hand, Alyssa Milano being extra-sexy. On the other, everything else about that show.

Has anyone else watched The Goodwin Games? Not terrible and a decent cast for a summer series.

I've read it's a guaranteed goner. I probably would have given it a shot otherwise. Might still.

I'm willing to overlook the other hand and focus on the one sexy hand.

I'm curious: I already was thinking of rewatching Freaks and Geeks this summer at a slower-than-normal pace, maybe one episode a week even. I then noticed The AV Club's TV Club Classic was going to do just that.

Would anyone on here want to have like a book club-style discussion on Freaks and Geeks, which I know many people love?

It's reasonable in Louie's case, anyhow.

Cable shows get too much love, in general. I'll give The Americans its due, although, goodness, the way that show is, it's wonder we didn't annihilate the Russia and vice versa in 1986. But Game of Thrones is an eye-rolling, terrible show.

I can't get into Game of Thrones. I tried... I watched the first season and the first couple of the second season and I just couldn't get into it... It was the same way with The Wire. I wanted to like it, and it certainly wasn't bad, but I couldn't get into it...
