I'll take ridiculous complaints for $500, Alex.

Doesn't that describe every complaint utter on this board?

Watching VEEP for the first time.

Quirky. Probably need a few more episodes. But I will say Anna Chlumsky is about 10 times 360 degrees from her sweet debut as a child actor in My Girl. She could act as a child and she can really act now.

If you don't laugh your ass off at the myriad ways they insult Jonah, you don't deserve a sense of humor.

Yes, and I love the way Jonad generally just rolls with it and brings a false sense of superiority because he works for the White House.

It definitely gets better as it goes. The second season has been much better than the first (and I liked the first).

"Don't give me that Quaker in a titty bar look." How can't you love Veep?

I'm an admitted reality TV fan, but I really liked Whodunnit. It's a character study while also letting you follow the case as they figure it out.

I'm curious about Naked and Afraid.

I agree, but the best episode is "Catherine." Every episode she's in is great, though.

Yeah, I recorded several episodes of the second season of Veep when we got a free HBO preview. I remember being lukewarm on the first season, but the second season was a lot better.

Chlumsky had a few-episode arc on Covert Affairs a few years back and she's the best part of Veep.
