Now the searching for Bigfoot show I actually like. I love Bobo and the others talking like their has been actual research on something that has never been found, or that Bobo is an "expert" in calling something that we really do not know if it exists or not. It also does not seem totally built to fail. They are actually trying their best to document Bigfoot.

The hillbilly show just pisses me off from them running around in ATVs at night trying to catch it. Really guys? Stealth not in your vocabulary? And then they tried to film the monster going after a sheep. Now most people with a brain would use a full shot of the area and not zoom in on the sheep. Not these idiots. The monster walks IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, but gosh, Clem, we just missed it. But we got a close up of the goat. Then they wax poetically about how smart these beasts are to outwit them. Like these fucking things have created their own calendar system or a fair form of government. I'm waiting for the next episode where they find some rolled up parchment with the philosophic thoughts of the mountain creatures.

    Here are our protagonists...

I watched it and came away pretty ambivalent, and I've liked vitrually everything I've seen that Schreiber was in. Because of that and the fact that it comes on after Dexter I'll probably give it a couple more episodes.

Really enjoyed the season premiere of Dexter. I've been waffling the last couple of years on whether I thought it would end with a bloodbath or him in handcuffs. The vibe I get from last night's episode is that there's going to be a massive bloodbath.

Nice. I wanted to watch it a month or so ago, but I had just dropped down a tier in my cable package and it went away. Well, now that I have a new provider, I got it back. Definitely on my to-do list.

OK, upgraded my DirecTV today to include OnDemand. I now have access to all 60 episodes of The Wire. Having never watched it and having heard so many great things, I'm going to guess folks here tell me I have to start watching it.

Watch the first episode. You'll figure out the other part on your own.

Speaking of old HBO shows, I'm almost through with Season 3 of Six Feet Under. I really enjoy the show, but it's definitely uneven. The characters are terrific, but some of the plots are weak and predictable. The humor is so perfectly built for me, though. That said, this third season has been one of the saddest seasons of TV I've ever seen, reminiscent of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 6. I get that it's not for everyone, but I am completely enwrapt in how this all broke down.
