I never can keep it straight, did Gerald McRaney play Simon or Simon?

I can't believe you post this nugget and then don't have the decency to post a link! It's not like forgetting to post a picture for a Poin file - the ultimate SJ.com transgression - but it's not good.

I absolutely agree. It had been built up for months that the fire killed Jack. We'd seen Rebekah visit the burned out house, we'd seen the smoke detector battery not being replaced, and even the preview for that episode made it look like he died in the fire. (Bad Crock-Pot!) Plus Kate didn't want a dog because of what happened in the fire. So when Jack went back into the fire, obviously that was the end. But wait, he's alive! And then to have him die alone, like you said, didn't seem right.
One interesting thing about that episode: when Kevin and mom are watching the game together, the field has the logos from this year's event but it's obviously an old one since it's an outside game played during the day. Later, when the game is on at Kate's place and the dog is watching, the tipped interception from this year's game is shown.

    Ha!
I was too young to watch the show when it was on, but I always loved the opening because I loved the theme song. Plus that red '82 Camaro Z28.

One more thing regarding "This Is Us": I can't get over how much Hannah Zeile, the young actress who plays the teenaged Kate, actually looks like Chrissy Metz, who portrays the adult Kate.

We watched the 3 episode of AP Bio which were on demand. A couple of laughs, but nothing great.

Liked the first episode, but yeah. The premise is a bit much for me, since the show starts with him crashing his car into the school's sign.
