Great thread on the Roseanne reboot. Am I being duped?

 

The Mechanism on Netflix is pretty damn good. Took me a bit to figure out all of the players and what was at play. It's done by the guy who did Narcos.
It did make me wonder what the big whoop was. Government contractors inflating their bids and kicking back some cash to the politicians that fund the projects? Seems like normal business as usual in the U.S.

 

Saw a preivew of thatlast night. I'll probably watch based solely on Narcos.

Right now, catching up with Better Call Saul. What a great, great show of characters.

 

FTFY, on behalf of those of us who would rather watch paint dry.

Maybe i am use to the pacing by now.
The 1st season was really slow. This season not so much, IMO.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they lose 30 percent of the audience next week. 10 percent remembering it wasn't ever "their bag." Twenty percent wanting to tick off Trump.

 

It's like Breaking Bad that way. The second half of BB, as a series, was done at such breakneck speed and had so many highlights that people forget how tedious a lot of Season 2 and the first half of Season 3 were.

Eight episodes into season 2 of High Maintenance on HBO. That's a really fun show. Love the way they interweave stories around the weed guy in every episode. Seems like a fresh show every time you watch.
