For a second I thought that was from Sons of Anarchy. It's a problem when guest actors start showing up on some of your favorite shows playing different characters. It doesn't seem I can see a show these days without Gregg Henry or Gerald McRaney popping up

I wonder why they aren't filming The Bridge in southern New Mexico. The state gives a bunch of incentives for studios to film there. And it's just a few miles from El Paso, so it would be pretty authentic.

Lot of good TV on between now and football season.

Ray Donovan, The Bridge, Orange/Black, The Newsroom, Breaking Bad, Low Winter Sun. Not sure I've watched the trailer for Hemlock Grove on Netflix. Need to check that out, too.

Hemlock Grove was universally panned. When I say that, I don't just mean snotty critics.

Maybe so. I'll still give it a shot. If I remember.

Grantland had a podcast with Christopher Guest, talking about Family Tree and other things. He really is either not comfortable with strangers or is just a not a friendly person, because that was tough to listen to because of his attitude.

Based on my Twitter feed tonight, Sharknado is going to pull a huge rating.

It was huge on Twitter. Just huge. And I don't know why.

It was so hilariously bad that it was worth documenting.

I watched the last 40 minutes and participated in the Twitter fun. It's as big a Twitter *event* as I remember outside of the Oscars or SOTU or other such unifying events.
