Been enjoying his work since he wrote (in print!) for the Ledger.

Pretty good. Hef comes off pretty well, despite being a shit bag husband and absent dad.

Did NOT know: Marilyn Monroe did NOT actually pose for Playboy. She was a nude calendar model before she became famous. Hefner bought the photo and the rights to the photo and published it.

I liked the first episode of Succession on HBO. Some of the patriarch's kids were very broadly drawn, but I assume that was mostly for the sake of establishing the characters.

Started "Ascension" on Netflix; super secret space journey launched in early 60's for 100 yr trip to new planet; people 50 yrs later on US have no clue; people on ship have now changed to new generations. Intriguing.

Loved the ending of "Billions." Always figured Wendy would find a way to get Axe and Chuck together. Season IV will be fun watching both get revenge on their evil adversaries, and the assorted underlings who sold them out.

Damn you. Search out the SPOILER button. I'm four episodes from the end.

However, from about midway through the first season, I tabbed Wendy as the one who would wind up as the kingpin since she was playing both sides of the street.

I'm watching it now and it's been very meh so far three episodes in. I feel like the beginning has been they had one idea and are trying to milk it. Hope picks up.

Sorry. But you will love the last four episodes. One of the best shows on TV. I'm enjoying "Succession" too.
