And yeah, it's the worst movie ever made.

I thought he was shot in a Florida airport. Friend of Moe Green, IIRC.

It's unbelievable how full my Twitter timeline is with Sharknado references.

It's actually not such a bad idea to start a genre of TV geared for Twitter.

Twitter went nuts for #Sharknado and the nonstop commentary was every bit as funny and clever as the movie was awful and itchy. Truly horrendous yet you couldn't turn away. The Twitter commentary reminded me of audience interplay during the Rocky Horror Picture Show. In a way it felt like Sharknado was trying to achieve the same thing for a 2.0 world.

TV Twitter genre should aim to produce the worst pieces of programming possible because the audience would swell and swell and swell in minutes thanks to Twitter and then you have a national tidal wave of tweets providing a parallel world of excellence.

You're going to read a lot of stories about the #Sharknado Effect tomorrow.

I hope to never watch something because people on my Twitter feed are.

When something hits on that perfect "fun awful" vibe, it makes it look easy. But they can't all be Sharknados.

Just watching it now. Yeah it's bad. I'm trying to guess how long it took to shoot. I'm guessing maybe a week.
Was Sharktopus too early for Twitter? Far superior. This also was no Jersey Shore Shark Attack.

2-Headed Shark Attack, starring Carmen Electra, Charlie O'Connell and Brooke Hogan, would have been a hit.

I'd normally agree, but John Hodgman and Michael Ian Black used to watch House Hunters International on HGTV and make fun of the people the entire time on Twitter. It was wonderful.

Holy crap - how did I miss that? The bus driver in Sharknado - the one and only Robbie Rist.

And there is a video (which looks like it has better production values than the movie.

I really wish there was a making of "Sharknado" - now that would be interesting.
