  1. She's the second female lead to ask off the show, if you include the character she replaced several years ago ...

If memory serves, Sasha Alexander has said leaving NCIS was one of the dumbest things she's ever done.

"Do I regret leaving? I absolutely don't, for a million reasons that I've never spoken out about ... for a million reasons that I can't. I had a wonderful time doing it for two years, though."

    TV Guide Magazine: Any regrets?
Alexander: I really firmly believe in my heart that I would not be where I am today — happily married, with two kids, doing things creatively that I want — if I had stayed. I didn't want to wake up and be in my forties and go, "Oh, my gosh!" But people don't understand.

Those types of shows are built specifically to be unencumbered by cast departures.

Finished Family Tree. It's going to be a real shame if they don't bring it back for a second season. It's way better than Girls, which I'm giving up on after two seasons. I would have done so about halfway through season two, but figured I should finish it.

Plus, though the cliffhanger ending was handled classily, it still was a cliffhanger.

This is LIT'RALLY the worst thing ever to happen on Parks and Rec.

That seems like a natural decision. Babies have ruined sitcoms past.

When I saw the headline yesterday, I assumed it was Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt or maybe Aziz.

Lowe leaving West Wing for that doctor show that lasted a few weeks, would rank among the dumbest decisions ever.

Have they made clear whether they even want a seventh season?

I could see Aziz Ansari moving on after this one, not so much because he's too big but because Tom Haverford leaving Pawnee seems like a natural fit.

I don't think too many people would be surprised if this is the last season, not because the show is bad, but because it doesn't get great ratings and ensemble casts can be expensive.

Right, everyone knows this probably will be the last season. Most people thought last season would be it. I'm asking if the creators and writers, specifically Michael Schur, even want to make a seventh.
