I just found out that Betsy Brandt from Breaking Bad is playing Michael J. Fox's wife on his new show.

I must admit, that will seem a little strange.

I have no problem with the tribute for Cory Monteith, but how in the world can you not do a tribute to Larry Hagman? Larry Hagman? I remember when Gandolfini died thinking that TV might have the performers of its two most iconic characters in one year. Unbelievable. I guess for a lot of these people one of the most watched stories of all time was "Who shot ol' what's his name?"

I'm thinking the only new show I'm going to watch this fall is Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and even that is mostly because of Joss Whedon.

What's odd is that Fox is older (52) than Dean Norris (51), and Brandt is just 36.

This is the only new one that I'm excited to see, though I may give The Blacklist a shot just because Spader plays morally ambiguous so well.

I'm looking forward to The Blacklist the most out of the new shows. I'll also be watching Hostages. We'll probably try out 6-8 of the new shows in total.

Also, Sundays are going to be a bitch during football season. Will likely be utilizing OnDemand quite a bit.

Checked out "Dads" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" last night. An hour of my life I'll never get back.

I expect Brooklyn Nine-Nine to get better after a handful or so episodes because that's how Mike Schur's shows go. The pilot was just OK.

I'm not sure how Dads gets picked up by a major network in this day and age.

I may give Brooklyn Nine-Nine another couple of chances. It wasn't anywhere close to as bad as Dads, and I could see some promise in it. First time I watched The Office, I thought it was horrible and I ended up loving it. Maybe this will be the same.

    Produced by Seth MacFarlane...

I think Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be fine.

Dads is highbrow comedy compared to Two Broke Girls.

Brandt is one of the only actresses I can think of who looks clearly older than she actually is, and I don't just mean on Breaking Bad. She's attractive, but it's in the way of a 45-year-old MILF.

I'm definitely surprised she's only 36. Doesn't she play Skyler's older sister on Breaking Bad? Gunn, if I'm not mistaken, is in her mid 40s.
