Yeah, I doubt the cast cost that much. I just read in Entertainment Weekly that it was the most expensive of the new shows...

    I haven't watched it yet.

The collection of talent on The Voice in the two nights I've seen is the best group of music contest entrants I've ever heard. One after another are worthy winners, and blow anything I'd heard in the past few years on Idol out of the water.

Watched it this morning. ABC had it online very early, so I didn't even have to fire up the VCR.

I enjoyed it. I do wonder if I'll like it as much without Cobie Smulders. I agree that she does a nice job as Maria Hill.

I've thought for a while now that Faris is one of the better comedic actresses around. And she acts her ass off in Mom. So does Allison Janney.

My concern is that I got a Curb Your Enthusiasm feel by the end of it. I mean, the main character just keeps getting piled upon and piled upon; you wind up looking over your shoulder for the other shoe to drop.

Fallon and Timberlake are becoming quite the comedic team.

Here's "Hashtag" with a strong ending by Questlove:
    #action=share

At some point Fallon and Timberlake do a movie?

Oh, yeah. Over/under of 2 years. Gotta strike while the iron's hot.

Timberlake's just plain good in that genre. He was good with Kimmel last night.

Caught SHIELD on the DVR after work and really liked it, but then I'm a bit of a Marvel fanboy, so I was a captive audience.

Also watched the Blacklist on Monday night and I think they've hooked me.

In both, the premiere episodes were good, although I recognize the pilots were mainly to set up the whole premise. I was mainly struck by the possible reveals they might have as the season goes on.

Interesting to see Agent Hill in the SHIELD episode. With HIMYM in its last season, I wonder if Smulders may be making occasional appearances to transition into a regular role next season.

Also, good to see Ron Glass again. I read he's a frequent Whedon cast member, but he'll always be Det. Harris to me. And on a related note, I'm intrigued to see what Coulson "doesn't know" about "Tahiti."

That should be fun to speculate. I've read comments from Whedon saying they will not draw things out too long because he doesn't want to frustrate fans, so I'm guessing we get the story of Coulson's return sooner rather than later.

I'm guessing Coulson really did die and he was either cloned or he is a Life Model Decoy (For those that don't know, LMD's are human-looking robots used by SHIELD in the comics). That, and I'm betting he does know, but he keeps it to himself because he isn't supposed to know the truth.

I'm a little interested in seeing what develops for "Gotham" for 2014. It's young James Gordon of the Batman universe. No Batman, no costumes, no villains. So what keeps it from being like the other police procedurals? (This season alone, ABC, NBC, and FOX each have two, and CBS has 10.)

Good start to "Revolution,", ok...maybe just because Charlie is hooking up with whomever...

Supposedly some of the villains from Batman will show up. But really, it's probably just gonna be a cop show with Batman villains.

I would guess they'll do a variation on the 'freak of the week' theme where every week they deal with a criminal who lets slip some kind of clue he is going to turn into a Batman supervillain some day.

Although they will have to be careful about using names. No "Oswalds" or "Jack Napiers."
