First time I recall seeing her was "Hall Pass." Then, of course, the "Baywatch" movie. Outstanding.

True Detective. Before that though, she was an absolute smoke show in some commercials:

She was the Rock's daughter in San Andreas?

Apparently, the hometowns mentioned by Higgins in the latest Ted Lasso were where all the actors were from.

Yup. Also a big role in the Percy Jackson movies.

The BBC's Unforgotten isn't just another "Cold Case" show - maybe it's Nicola Walker as the lead DCI, or the writing, but it is truly good. It doesn't traffic in sentimentality - like the CBS show did. Rather, it delves into the consequences of the past catching up to the present. Each season is just six eps, if you are looking for a "spacer" between deep dives of binging. Never thought I'd be one of those "BBC people" but they have a way of doing crime drama that really resonates.

BTW - if you haven't already binged "Spooks" (renamed MI-5 for US viewers for obvious reasons) you can thank me later. Makes "24" look like an afterschool special. Ms. Walker also plays a pivotal role. As does Keely Hawes, Matthew MacFayden (of Succession fame) and many more. It's positively brilliant (to borrow a British axiom). Did I mention David Oyelowo and Richard Armitage? Dang - maybe I should re-binge it.

I didn't think they needed it but Tehran (Apple TV) is making season 2 and Glenn Close is going to be part of the season.

    Especially When Harry Met Sally.

They finally gave Coach Beard more than just a few grunting sounds.

I still don't know 95% of what Keely says with that accent.
